Day 29/31 - 'Forget Me Not', A fav from my childhood. It's hard to tell from this closeup painted version, but the actual flowers are just tiny. I remember as a kid first learning the name of these flowers, and being puzzled since it's not so much a name as an emotion of longing. The poetry in the name of these flowers almost begs you to make up a story in which these flowers were given in hopes that the receiver would long remember the giver. With that in mind...I give to you my version of these little pretties in hopes that you'll remember me and my paintings : )
